This carafe is hand made using traditional Japanese glassblowing techniques. Each piece is uniquely different, organic and reflect the craftsman's skill and creativity. A different world from machine made glass.

Naoya Arakawa is an accomplished glass artist. After graduating from the University of Hokkaido he began working for the renowned Toyohira Glass manufacturer. In 1981 he moved to his native Kyoto and set up the Seikosha Glass Studio. Over the years he has trained many emerging craftsmen.
